Branding - Vertigo WebDesign Solutions
Branding hey! So easy to define, so hard to do!. The goal simple, just look at the best brands and there you have it, for your brand to leave an imprint on the psyche of your market. However it's not as simple as that. The work that goes into making a brand, a brand is a lot more complicated than that.
Lets look at a few examples of brands.
If I use the following words to describe what I'm doing than you know exactly what I'm doing - Xerox, Hovering, drinking Coke. Some brands define there market so much that the brand becomes the buzzword for the market. A furniture store I go to eat out because I love there meatballs so much, most people will know I mean 'IKEA'. Brown, a horrible colour, dare I say an unmarketable and unbrandable colour. Yet brown was just the colour UPS choose to recently re-brand with and was it effective. They've turned 'yucky brown' into something credible, and so brown has made UPS cool. A swoosh tick - Nike.
Even colours brand their products. I see someone mowing there lawn in the distance with an orange lawn mower - has to be a Flymo. Who invented the walkman? Easy Sony. How on earth did vhs beat betamax when the latter was a superior product? Answer - branding (and marketing too).
Whether your a recent start up or an already established company that feels it needs a re-brand, we'll develop a strategy that harness both your online and offline capabilities together that helps drive your business forward, creating a powerful and efficiently driven business, including identity (who you are?) , direction (what your company is trying to achieve?), development (how you achieve your targets?), uniqueness (standing you apart from your competitors), awareness (how the consumer understands you, your products and see your company?) and how vital parts of your business relate to each other particularly your online and offline presence.
If the goal is simple the process, however is anything but. There are many, many issues involved in the branding process. At vertigo we can discuss with you these many, many issues. We obviously don't want to give away all our ideas to the competition.
Well put the umph into your brand, so if you want to know more please contact us.
