The problem is the web design industry works in a very isolated, disjointed and divided way, hence the terms that have developed; front end and back end. Wed Designers tend to specialise in certain areas rather than trying to fulfil them all. Before setting up Vertigo we went through a research stage so that we could 'really' offer our clients the most professional service possible.

We found some surprising results, the simple conclusion is that they way the web design industry works doesn't actually serve the customers.

All major areas of a site signifcantly overlap. From Front end design to back end programming, from optimisation wether that be Search Engine Optimisation or general design optimisation to programming. Anyone who has a website produced this way, the way the industry works would not only damage the website but the different parties would end up re-doing each others work if they were to do it professionally resulting in you paying them for what is in essence waste.

We've not only believe this we've also found this to be true with the work we've done so far.
