At the end of the day we can do nothing but except that this is the way things are and get on with it, but should we have this attitude?
A defiant 'no' is my answer, What we should be saying to ourselves is that ok the internet has it's obvious problems, the simlest one being you have to spend a fortune on something you may see as unnecessary expense, one in which many people want not to spend as much if any on if they could. But the internet should be looked at something that could benefit you, it's a tool that ok you have to spend some money on, but when the benefits greatly outway the costs I don't see the problem. You invest something and what you get in return is greater. Pur rather crudely, that is brand awareness, flocks of new customers, more sales which in turn gives you more profits and helps you grow your business. That is if and 'only if' it's done right. That's our aim to 'do it right'. Ultimately the question is ROI which is dictated to by doing this 'internet thing' right - you wanna see a return for what you spend, that's the way we measure our work, the ROI way. We'd much rather you spend £8k and see five or six times that money back than you spend £2k and just see two or three times that back. Ultimately if you have the money or not is not in our consideration. For us the money issue is a side one which we can go around, we like to be paid on results anway so if we have to do it that way fine. Ultimately the issues is one of doing the best for your business - that is not taking money from you but making money for you.
So what 'exactly' can the internet do for you. Generally speaking we can help you out by advising on saving you money by:
